OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

during cell division all the other organelles are broken down except centrioles. in animals centrioles act as spindle fibre formation centre and are present at the poles. the chromosomes are pulled towards these centrioles

OpenStudy (cherry17ann):

I believe it is C. Centrioles. Every animal-like cell has two small organelles called centrioles. They are there to help the cell when it comes time to divide.
