OpenStudy (bigbosssaint21):

show how to find the zeros, and then describe the other key features of g(x). g(x) = x^3 – x^2 – 4x + 4

OpenStudy (imstuck):

The zeros of the cubic function here is where x = 0. This means that there are either 2 real positive solutions, and 1 real negative solution, or 0 positive, 1 negative and 2 imaginary. Do you know Descartes' Rule of Signs?

OpenStudy (imstuck):

Anyway, the key to this is to find the first factor, or where x = 0. You can use synthetic division to do this. Start simple, like with 1 or -1. Do you know synthetic division?

OpenStudy (imstuck):

This is really a nice, easy one.
