OpenStudy (andrewkaiser333):

OpenStudy (ineedhelp10):

On a recent episode of Jeopardy, a contestant was asked to rearrange the following five numbers in increasing order. They got the answer right. What did they say? a)2/3 b)0.6666 c)3/5 d)0.666 e)0.67

OpenStudy (ineedhelp10):

My answer is c, e,d,a,b

OpenStudy (andrewkaiser333):

c you say?

OpenStudy (andrewkaiser333):

oops forgot to type others

OpenStudy (ineedhelp10):

no, i meant the order is c,e,d,a,b

OpenStudy (andrewkaiser333):

\[(A.) \frac{ 2 }{ 3 }= .666666667 (B.) .6666 (C.) \frac{ 3 }{ 5 }= .6 (D.) .666 (E.) .67\]

OpenStudy (andrewkaiser333):

now that you know that what you think it is???

OpenStudy (andrewkaiser333):

that will help you now

OpenStudy (ineedhelp10):

@AndrewKaiser333 Yeah, I know, I did the exact thing, I want to know if my answer is correct

OpenStudy (andrewkaiser333):

(C.),(D.),(B.),(A.), and (E.) is what i get if you round it like it shows

OpenStudy (ineedhelp10):

I dont get why we have to round, it didnt say in the question

OpenStudy (andrewkaiser333):

well if you look at the numbers it starts to round.

OpenStudy (andrewkaiser333):

ask hero real quick

OpenStudy (andrewkaiser333):

@Hero

OpenStudy (ineedhelp10):

@Hero Would you mind helping please?

OpenStudy (andrewkaiser333):

OpenStudy (ineedhelp10):

Thank you

OpenStudy (andrewkaiser333):

@esshotwired

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

Well first of I would change all the answer choices to only decimals to compare easier

OpenStudy (andrewkaiser333):

i did that for him

OpenStudy (andrewkaiser333):

(A.)2/3=.666666667(B.).6666(C.)3/5=.6(D.).666(E.).67

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

I mean like changing 2/3 and 3/5 to decimals

OpenStudy (ineedhelp10):

Yeah, I did that as well

OpenStudy (ineedhelp10):

The answer I got, in which the order went was c,e,d,a,b

OpenStudy (ineedhelp10):
