Which of the following is true of climate but not of weather?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Climate is generally accepted to be the weather patterns over a timespan. Weather is just how it is at a certain time. For example, if it is almost always hot in a certain region, it's climate will be referred to as hot. If it is hot once in awhile then it won't be. Climate is the average weather, if it helps you think of it that way.
