What would happen to this world without force?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

World won't be interesting anymore !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Basically, you won't be alive as a body. Forces hold your body to the size you have. If forces were not there, you body would be a large collection of particles !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So Earth's atmosphere wouldn't hold either?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Of course. Earth's atmosphere is because of earth's gravitational force.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Appreciated Kumar..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:)

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

Wait, which force are you referring to? We got gravitational force, electromagnetic force, strong nuclear force and weak nuclear force.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Moon's gravitation force is much smaller than the eart which results into the smaller escape velocity. This is the reason why moon have no atmosphere !

OpenStudy (abhisar):

*eart = earth

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think @10zin has a general question about the importance of forces.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

That was in response to \(\color{blue}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @10zin So Earth's atmosphere wouldn't hold either? \(\color{blue}{\text{End of Quote}}\)
