Do you know how to look at a graph and figure out the equation of a line just from the y-intercept and some points the line goes through? If I drew a line on a graph, could you figure out the equation of it?

Or you could just take the answer and not know how to do it...I guess that would work, too...(but maybe not on a test)

The slope is given by the tangent of the angle(A,B,..); In the paralell case the angles are equal so the slope are equal;
