Calculus Help PLEASE!!! find all points where f(x)=2x^3-3x^2-36+9 has a horizontal tangent line. Can someone explain how you solve this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Horizontal tangents to a curve have zero slope. The slope of the tangent line is given by the derivative at the point to which the line is a tangent. This means the horizontal tangents occur at points when \(f'(x)=0\). Find the derivative, set equal to 0 and solve for \(x\).

thank you!
