How is the graph of y=-5x^2+2 different from the graph of y=-5x^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Following the quadratic equation's standard form \[y= ax^2+bx+c\] where c is a constant, the c value translates (shifts) the whole graph upward if positive and downward if negative. In your case, the "+2" in your first equation will shift the whole graph up 2 units on the y-axis.
