OpenStudy (abhisar):

Hello @Ash_Uchiha ! Jack should treat them with ethylene

OpenStudy (cherry17ann):

I believe he would treat them with B. Treat them with ethylene Ethylene has been used in practice since the ancient Egyptians, who would gas figs in order to stimulate ripening.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Actually Calcium carbide is used for ripening fruit artificially in some countries. When calcium carbide comes in contact with moisture, it produces acetylene gas, which is quite similar in reaction to the natural ripening agent ethylene. Acetylene acts like ethylene and accelerates the ripening process
