OpenStudy (anonymous):

right cone*

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

\(\bf \textit{volume of a cone}=\cfrac{\pi r^2 h}{3}\qquad r=radius=\frac{diameter}{2}\)

i did the equation and got 1017.36 but that isnt one of the options

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[V=324 \pi =1017.88 \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is still not a option the options are a.324 b.1296 c.1228 d.972

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If h is 27 and r is 6, 1/2 of d, then the values for V are correct. I used Mathematica 9 Home Edition for the calculation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

V = 1017.8760197630930093 to 20 digits.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i will just miss this question then because 1017.88 is not a option like i said before

Well sometimes the teacher or other Authorities make errors.
