The 6.189 class did not have the lectures recorded. However, it was only a 5 week class taken in tandem with the 6.000 class or by other people that wanted to know the basics of programming. What I suggest is to watch the first 10 to 15 Python videos here: https://buckysroom.org/videos.php?cat=36 That will get you the absolute basics and then the 6.189 and 6.000 materials will make more sense. Then you will be able to work through the problems more easily because you will have an idea what coding is. I believe they also have an e-book listed in 6.189 and working through the problems in it will be easier after the videos get you past those initial steps.
