OpenStudy (bigbosssaint21):

the length of two sides of a triangle are, side 1 , 8x^2-5x-2, side 2 ,7x-x^2+3 the perimeter of the triangle is 4x^3-3x^2+2x-6 what is the length of the third side of the triangle?

OpenStudy (imstuck):

Since the perimeter is the measurement of the whole triangle and you have 2 sides, just subtract the two known sides from the perimeter and you will get the third side. Not too bad. Let me know if you can't understand this or have trouble getting the answer, ok?
