I am to seek to solve the exponential equation of 5^(x-3)=242. I have come to this so far: x = (log(242\/125)+2 i pi n)\/(log(5)) I am also to find the decimal approximation which I have as follows: ~~ 0.62133 (0.66062+6.2832 i n) and n element Z Double check me someone?

since the variable is in the exponent, we need to take log both sides to bring it down
so start by taking log both sides
