the multiplication between the roots of equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[^{2}\log \frac{ ^{x2+15} }{ x }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ganeshie8 ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it the correct equation ?

hartnn (hartnn):

can you post the question again ? probably draw it, preferably screenshot it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea sure n sorry for the delay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

hint : \(\large \log_a b = c \implies b = a^c\)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

start by changing the given equation into exponent form

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

\(\large \log_2 \dfrac{x^2+15}{x} = 3\) \(\large \dfrac{x^2+15}{x} = 2^3\)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

rearrange to get a quadratic

hartnn (hartnn):

no need to solve it then. for \(ax^2+bx+c = 0\) product of roots will just be \(\Large \dfrac{c}{a}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank u @hartnn n @ganeshie8 :)
