Welcome to Openstudy! (^_^)/ I did not read Phillis Wheatley's "On Imagination", so I don't know, but remember this: - A Rhyming Couplet is two line of the same length that rhyme and complete one thought. - An inverted sentence is any sentence in which the normal word order is reversed, with the verb coming before the subject or the complete subject and predicate coming after another clause.
