yes that depends but if u consider that every thing is same and the medium is not liquid then u can say that longitudal waves are much more faster than transverse wave and they are also more stronger too
so probably false :)

generally longtudal waves are like P waves ans transverse waves are like S waves
and P waves(longitudal) make more destruction so longitudal waves shouldbe stronger than transverse wave
