Which statement is true about the law of conservation of energy for an object released from a certain height above the ground

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hi welcome to openstudy! The law of conservation of energy states that the total energy in a system is equal to the total final energy of that system. An object from a height: •Before it falls down, it has a gravitational potential energy. When it falls, it gains kinetic energy which is equal to it gravitational potential energy before it was dropped. (Assuming there are no other external forces besides gravitational force). Hope this helps!
