triangles

Elsa213 (elsa213):

wut do need help on mam?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What about em?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are u going to ask a question ?

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

lol yeah solve the triangle A=18 C=104 c=5|dw:1403197456483:dw| whenever i cross multiply it comes out to awful decimals

Elsa213 (elsa213):

To find the sides, remember the equation side a/SinA=side b/SinB=side c/SinC so you can plug in 5/sin104=a/sin18 by using side c/SinC=side a/SinA and solve the proportion to get side b. Apply the same equation for side a.

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

-.- i said anyone but you and i already know that \[\frac{ 5 }{ \sin104 }=\frac{ x }{ \sin58 } =\frac{ x }{ \sin18 }\] i know you only do two but im just putting it up there :P

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

5/sin104=5.153 so that doesnt work and when i cross multiple 5*sin58=4.24 and divide that by sin104 it = 4.37 none of its adding up the way its suppose to

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x=5*\frac{ \sin(104) }{ \sin(58) }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry sin58 is the numerator and the sin104 is the denominator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x1=5*\frac{ \sin(58) }{ \sin(104) }\] \[x2=5*\frac{ \sin(18) }{ \sin(104) }\]

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

But my answers are B=58 a=15.7 b=13.7 B=58 a=1.6 b=4.4 B=58 a=15.7 b=4.4 so i guess its the last one?

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

seriously.... is it the last one?
