what elements make up lipids
Lipids are a HUGE category. Lipids are considered macromolecules. All that means is REALLY REALLY LARGE molecules. The thing that defines Lipids is that they all are hydrophobic, which means "water hating." They don't dissolve in water. So lipids can be steroids, the stuff that makes cell membranes, fats, etc. The list goes on. You asked "what elements make up lipids" Well, you'd need Carbon, Hydrogen, and Oxygen. Some of them also have Phosphorus. Hope that helps!
