Did I get this correct?

Pappy's Pond is located close to an elementary school. The city plans to fence it in to keep small children from accessing the water. What is the perimeter of a triangular-shaped fence the city can place around the pond, using integer coordinates (no decimals) on the grid? You must show all work to receive credit. Coordinates around the pond: Point A,(0,5), Point B(8,9), Point C(4,-3) AB = sqrt((8-0)^2+(9-5)^2) = 8.9 AC = sqrt((4-0)^2+(-3-5)^2) = 8.9 BC = sqrt((4-8)^2+(-3-9)^2) = 12.6 Perimeter 8.9 + 8.9 + 12.6 = 30.4 units

That's correct

Is your point B correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Given your coordinates, also make sure not to include the decimal in there so it would just be 30 units

Thank both of you!
