Describe the stages of primary succession in land environments, including lichens, mosses, grasses, shrubs, and trees.
And does anyone know what factors contributed to the evolution of unique plants and animals.
it says in my text book that lichens are often the pioneer species.
and that the gradual build-up of soil rocky dwellings suitable for the colonisation of mosses
further soil enrichment allows grasses and ferns to grow...
and finally shrubs, small trees and eventually forrests
so is that like the answer to question 1??? i just list them chronologically?
