after 1 hour the wt. will be 75,then next hour it will be 25% of 75 solve like that
let the weight of it be 100% or 100/100 or 1 1*(1-0.25)^3(1+0.5)= weight after4 hours

another way to think of it if that 1=0.25 = 0.75 is a bit confusing

When you lose 25% you are left with 75 % of your weight so
1*0.75*0.75*0.75*1.5<--- the last part...when you get 50% you have 1.5 times your weight so
