the ozone
The Earths' ozone layer, which absorbs the sun's harmful ultraviolet radiation, can be damaged by human activity. Since ozone was first measured in the late 1800's, scientists have attempted to construct scientific models of ozone depletion to better understand and educate about the sensitive ozone layer.
Which is true of the scientific models that they constructed? The models are a simplified version of the real phenomena. The models show all the complexity of the chemical interactions. The models are based on philosophical debate rather than scientific data. The models are an exact three-dimensional demonstration of the interactions.
@ganeshie8
why is noone ever in the chemistry section on here.?
i am here
i know XD i mean like you have to call upon people orelse your question never gets answered
ikr... :) so what is a model ?
we can eliminate option C straight away
philosophy got nothing to do with science
i thought philosophy was a science
philosophy is not a science
philosophy is opinion based - so its not a science
oh that makes sense i feel like d isnt right because it sounds like math .-.
models are indeed math, but d is not right - a model is a simplified tool understand a complex phenomena.. so the right answer is A
what do u think
idk.....im thinking of all the models of atoms and it went from being a sphere... a blank sphere all the was to a sphere with neutrons and protons surrounded by an electron cloud..... i feel like now its more complicated .-.
the real phenomena is even more complicated
.-. so its b?
actually the present models are just improved versions of simplified sphere model
I am going with A
yay c: okay do you think you can help the little people with questions underneath me? i feel bad for them :/ noones ever in this subject
im sure somebody will assist them soon... tbh im not that good wid chemistry lol
