Ok, I need to know what the equilibrium constant for the reaction/production of acetyl CoA from acetate is. Gibbs free energy for the direct reaction is 32 kJ/mol. Also, I need to know what the equilibrium constant for each step of the coupled reaction. Gibbs free energy (G1) is 11kJ/mol and the second reaction (G2) is -10kJ/mol. Are these unfavorable or favorable? What is the net reaction, overall equilibrium constant, and Gibbs free energy value.
