It has nothing to do with adblock I'm sure, both of mine are working fine. Did you try quitting chrome and firefox? If not, restart your computer, that might do the trick, usually does for most things.

My computer died from lack of proper charge when I was eating dinner and is now working again, which i guess is equivalent to restarting. I reinstalled Adblock and it still works. Thanks everyone.

I was going to point out your battery was low, but decided against it. If I had, however, your computer may have never died, meaning you may have never restarted your computer.
