Dear Love Always: What you've posted is not an equation, but rather an expression. If that's what you meant, then you can't "solve" it. I note you haven't yet included any instructions for this problem. Would you do that now, both for your own sake and for that of those trying to help you? I suspect that the instructions say, "simplify the following expression." If that's the case, then combine like terms: n-10+9n-3 Grouping "like terms" together, n+9n=-3+10, or ... what? Can you finish this? Note: that does not involve finding a value for n, because this is not an equation.
