4-x(2x-3)=16 quadratic equation.. help...

OpenStudy (neer2890):

4-2x^2+3x=16 \[2x ^{2}-3x+12=0\] now to find roots of a quadratic equation \[ax ^{2}+bx+c=0\] use this formula \[x=\frac{ -b \pm \sqrt{b ^{2}-4ac} }{ 2a }\]

OpenStudy (neer2890):

here, a=2, b=-3 and c=12
