@triciaal Picture with problem below :)
do you know the different concentration definitions?
no..
start from that IDEA
how are you solving problems without learning the proper vocabularies and concepts first?
this is a simple arithmetic, but you need to get the concept first
Hence, why I got it wrong the first time..
well then... why don't you read about the topics first before you start answering and ask for help?
your file is taking forever to load..^
IS*IV = FS*FV
^What does that stand for
i can't believe i'm stuck on this was the correct answer a?
initial strength, volume then final same
i need to review my notes
I don't know what the correct answer is.. haha, I know how you feel..
ok. im not sure if this is right but i got an answer. so you have 12 L of 8%. and you want to find how many Liters of 100% peroxide needs to be added. let's call it x. understand so far?
@lilia222 and when you combine these two solutions, you want 12+x of a 16% peroxide solution
I think it's 1.14 , thanks for trying
ok. cool. cuz thats what i got too!
here's my work |dw:1403408309978:dw|
set up the equation, which is A + B= solution so 0.08(12) + x = 0.16(12+x) distribute then solve for x. and you get x= 1.1428571.......
