let \[y=\sqrt{x-5}\]\[y ^{2}=x-5\]\[x=y ^{2}+5\] then change y to x and x to f(x):\[f(x)=x ^{2}+5\] In the orginal equation, x>=5, so y>+5 Answer is C and D
