Solve the following equation using the method requested. 4x^4-7x-9=6 Factoring Completing the square Quadratic Formula Can someone please please help me :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No you have to solve the equation with each method.

OpenStudy (imer):

Are you are, the equation is correct?\[4x^4-7x-9=6\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes. That's right.

OpenStudy (imer):

Well you can't solve it because you can not put it in quadratic form. Either it has to be "-7x^2" OR "4x^2"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So that goes under factoring? What about the other two?

OpenStudy (imer):

You can not factorize, nor use completing square or Quadratic formula.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So what do I say?

OpenStudy (imer):

Since we can not put the equation in quadratic form (ax^2+bx+c=0), we can not solve it using any method mentioned in the question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. I hope he doesn't say I'm wrong and fail me I really need to pass. Thanks
