OpenStudy (tywower):

Andrea works in an office where frequent outbreaks of colds and viruses occur. However, Andrea stays healthy most of the time and rarely misses work. Which is the most likely explanation for Andrea's health in this environment?

OpenStudy (tywower):

She probably exercises more frequently than her co-workers. She probably takes antibiotics on a regular basis. She probably washes her hands frequently and avoids touching her nose or mouth. She has probably already had all the strains of colds and viruses in her office.

No reason to get upset tywower, sometimes people are too busy. Would you still like some help with this?

OpenStudy (mathmate):

I started to write, but I don't think I had the right answer. My most probable (and politically correct) answer is C, which actually worked for me. However, there is also the factor that colds are also spread by fine air droplets (aerosol effect), for which hand washing and avoiding touching eyes and nose would not help. B. is definitely out because most colds and flu are caused by viruses, against which antibiotics don't help. A and D could be contributing factors, but cannot be the sole reason. So there, make your best pick. P.S. Probably this is a math forum, not too many people are experts in the field, as you can see. Sincerely apologize on behalf of Openstudy!
