can you check my work?

@ikram002p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the last one?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

One slope is positive and one negative. This rules out the top two.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so was i right?

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

just check the intersection point (1,-2) which system can apply this point ?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

(1,-2) must be a solution to both. Let's check that last one: 2x - y = 0 ==> 2(1) - (-2) = 2 -(-2) = 2+2 = 4 -- Whoops!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay i see what i did, thanks so much :)

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

mm so what do u think ? mm whats the answer ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5x - y = 7 2x + y = 0

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

yep ur correct ^_^
