\[\frac{ a+3 }{ 3 }- \frac{ a-1 }{ 4 }=\] A. 47 B. a+15/12 C. a+4/12 D. a/12
Try putting your fractions of the same denominator, then you will be able to subtract them
\[\frac{a+3}{3}\left(\frac{4}{4}\right)-\frac{a-1}{4}\left( \frac{3}{3}\right) \]
I got C
Is that correct?
