Maryland was different from the other English colonies because A- it was founded on behalf of Roman Catholic colonists. B- it established good relations with American Indians. C- it grew tobacco as a lucrative cash crop. D- it was created as a proprietorship, unlike any other colony.

they also had more women and children where the southern colonies mostly had indentured servants (who were all young men). They had town meetings and were very close-knit, which was not at all like the south, where everybody was just out to help themselves and find gold.
