Yeah, but I won't be using the example given, I just need an example to identify them easier

Linear equation: y = mx + b Where m = the slope b = y intercept Quadratic equation: \[ax^{2} + bx + c = 0\] Where a, b and c are known values. a can't be 0. and "x" is the variable or unknown.
