A rectangle has coordinates A(-4, 3), B(0, 0), C(6, 8), and D(2, 11). What is the area of the rectangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is going to look like a diamond when it is drawn on a graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so take point A and B and find the distance of the slope this will give you the width of the rectangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look up the formula for finding distances between 2 points if you don't have it with you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then take point B and C and find the distance betwween these two points and this will give you the lenght

OpenStudy (anonymous):

finaly multiply your lenght with the width to get your answer good luckk
