Express the complex number in trigonometric form. 3 - 3i

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Real and imaginary are the same magnitude. There's a 45º (\(\pi/4\)) reference angle in your future. You just have to decide which Quadrant.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

quadrant 4 but would it be 7pi over 4 or 5pi over 4

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Hopefully, you will see that 5pi/4 is in Quadrant III. I'd prefer \(-\pi/4\) unless someone insists on it being positive.
