2b-1<3

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

add 1 to both sides then divide both sides by 2 then tell me what you have

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can go help me with it im confused

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

if you add 1 to both sides what do you have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

24

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

what did you add 1 to to get 24?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i added 1 to 2 and 3

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

\(2b-1<3\) add 1 to both sides \(2b-1\color{blue}{+1}<3\color{blue}{+1}\) \(2b\cancel{-1}\cancel{\color{blue}{+1}}<3\color{blue}{+1}\) \(2b<4\)

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

I think you might need to go back and see what adding is "yeah i added 1 to 2 and 3 " to get 24 makes absolutely no sense.
