Random question regarding answering questions and the site itself: Whenever I submit a response to a question, my post goes through, however my "Type your reply" box and the preview become frozen on the page. This is inconvenient when I would like to add on to a response I submitted or respond to other people's comments. It's fairly easy to fix: I just have to refresh the page or go to another question, but it's a little frustrating to have to refresh so often. I'm just wondering if anyone else has this issue, or if it may just be me? Or if this has already been brought up?
Also I just noticed there was a feedback section, so I figured I'd give it a go! Cheers in advance!
I think its due to the lag which happens when servers of OS are at their full capacity. You might have noticed that this does ony happens at certain periods of a day !
@thomaster
It happens quite frequently with me as well, and as @abhisar stated above that its due to the lag; its nothing abnormal... so don't worry - you're not alone. Also it depends on what browser you're currently using, like I've examined that whenever I use chrome on my laptop it never occurs. But when I use desktop which has Firefox then it occurs; something "odd" but it seems to work perfectly fine when using chrome. So it can vary between different browsers, perhaps try using chrome if you're not already using it - and hopefully things get better for you eventually.
Chrome is best suited for OS !
Also there are many cool OS extensions for chrome
Actually for me I only use chrome and thats when I get the problem! But good to know I'm not alone haha
U can try going on through Firefox. Believe it or not all websites that r connected in any way through the state r made for firebox. I hate my science teacher from last year ,but that's one thing she taught me.
@BrittBrat13 haha your science teacher sold you a lot of bs... About every website is optimized for the 5 most common browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Apple Safari and Opera. Websites are not connected through a state, they're connected over the entire planet. OpenStudy works best on Google Chrome (for me), Chrome also has some pretty helpful extensions for OS like the openstudy notebook, TUOSA and openstudy quoting.
