What colors of ink do color ink-jet printers use to produce a full range of colors? Do the colors form by color addition or by color subtraction? @Abishek

OpenStudy (anonymous):

red, yellow, blue?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it is cyan, yellow and blue and a black one. Possibly there is no color subtraction, as colors from the inkjet printer does not react with other colors... Imagine the ink to be ionized tiny spheres of colors, which get attracted to the oppositely charged pins that directs these color spheres to their respective places...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it is a color addition because the colors are added together to make other colors?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You are correct.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Cyan = Red
