What type of questions are suitable for this topic? Psychology, Social interaction and associated problems, etc? I have a problem that is not school related, but I want to ask you guys.

Social Sciences are fields of study. They include sociology, communications, law, and a number of others. Here is a Wikipedia list:

OpenStudy is an educational site, so valid topics are educational ones related to those things. It is not a self help site and does not have professionals that can deal with problems. This makes it a poorly chosen place for the application of those topics. There is a difference between learning about psychology and trying to practice it. OS is for the former, not the latter.
