I have a question about the question we just did?
The volume of a cylinder is 24 cubic feet. What is the volume of a cone that fits exactly inside the cylinder? Provide an explanation and proof for your answer to receive full credit.
I would like to know how did you get 6 ??
@zaibali.qasmi
what is the formula for volue of cylinde..???tell me.??
V = πr2h
now whats the volume of cone..?
V = 1 over 3 (πr2)(h)
whats the difference of both ...????
the cone has 1/3
then..///the cone that can fit in the cylinder is 1/3 of cylinder with ssame base..having same dimeter...
You think you can show me step by step how you figured it out??
its too simple dear...tha cone that can sette sutibly is that which has same area of base as per cylinder...so for this...diameter of cone should be same as that cylinder..and height also same...!!!!
right, im just a little confused about how you got 6
now you get it..?
yeah kinda
you think you could help with a couple of more questions?
y not...
