They came from central asia Genetically speaking, all indians are quite similar. It is hard to tell a north indian from a south indian. The aryan tribes came from central asia. Part of them migrated to Iran and became the persians and part of them came to the Indian subcontinent. They were able to influence the culture of north indians greatly and many north indians today have some Aryan blood *only a little bit-about 10%* Many Indians are mad about this theory because the Europeans had greatly exaggerated this theory-saying all North Indians are Aryan and all South Indians are Dravidian. The indians you see today are racial and genetically similar. Many Northerners have traces amounts of Aryan blood and many southerners have traces amounts of australoid munda blood but other then that..no differences. India is a mixed nation in generally
