OpenStudy (phi):

do you see point B ? and the y-axis? flip the point B to the other side of the y-axis so it is the same distance away from the y-axis, but on the other side.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2,-2?

OpenStudy (phi):

First, what are the coordinates of point B ?

OpenStudy (phi):

now move sideways from point B to the y-axis. Then move that same distance to the left of the y-axis. can you find the coordinates of where you end up ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2,-2 i think....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be D

OpenStudy (phi):

in (-2,-2) the first -2 means two steps to the left of the y-axis the second -2 means two steps below the x-axis if you move sideways, you do not move down. the y value stays the same.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so D right? @phi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@beastieman21

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no wait i think C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes I think it is C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay ;3
