Okay so first, you have solve for f(x) plug in the x value (-5) wherever there are 'x's so that would look like this; f(-5)= 6(-5) - 9 so -5 multiplied by 6 is -30 -30 - 9 = -39 so, in turn, we come to; f(x) = -39 then -39 divided by 3.
