Factor completely 4x^2-4x+2xy-2y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

with these you need to group factor. you factor the first 2 together then the 2nd 2 and combine. 4x(x-1)+2y(x-1) now since you have (x-1) in both you can combine (4x+2y) (4x+2y)+(x-1) answer is 2(2x+y)+(x-1)

hope this helps
