OpenStudy (thecatman):

Which set of three segments can form a triangle? 7, 12, 5 6, 4, 11 13, 6, 6 8, 2, 8

OpenStudy (paki):

have you any idea...? @TheCatMan

OpenStudy (thecatman):

i think its a

OpenStudy (paki):

how...? @TheCatMan

OpenStudy (paki):

let me HINT you.... 2 segments must have a larger sum of length than the other side.......

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You need to check the sum of two numbers vs the third one. Ex 6+6 is shorter than 13, there is no way to build triangle

OpenStudy (thecatman):

sorry computer just froze

OpenStudy (paki):

like use use the inequalities of triangle.... @TheCatMan

OpenStudy (thecatman):

ok its d

OpenStudy (paki):

nice.... yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, and that would form a 45-45-90 triangle. Just make sure to use the inequalities of a triangle like paki said

OpenStudy (thecatman):

thank you

OpenStudy (paki):

pleasure...
