OpenStudy (drii_salsa):

Why are leaves green? I know because of chlorophyll but does it have anything to do with wave lengths or red range or green range? I cant afford to miss another questions.

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

The reason why it is green because of the chlorophyl, and the reasons why chlorophyl are green is because they absorb red and blue wavelengths of light. and so green is not absorbed and is reflected, making the plant look green to your eyes.

OpenStudy (drii_salsa):

So A) they contain chlorophyll and reflect wave lengths of red range @alphadxg

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

@Drii_salsa Yes, that would fit perfectly, remember to give a medal if your question was answered.
