What are large structures that contain the genetic information that must be passed on to each new generation of cells? A. Ribosomes B. Chromosomes C. Centrioles D. Centromeres

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

Ribosomes - occur in DNA replication Chromosomes - Correct answer (They will carry genetic information and genes form both parents) centrioles - are part of cell division, they will connect to chromosomes during cell replication centromeres - This is apart of the Chromosomes BUT it is the part that connects the two sister chromatids together (2 sister chromatids are joined by the centromere to become a chromosome)
