We have 5 colours of candy (red, green, blue, yellow, black). If there are 1000 pieces of each colour, how many do we need to pull out of the bag to guarantee that we'll get 2 red candies? I know this uses the pigeonhole principle, but I don't know how to approach it. I think the answer is 10? But how do I show/prove that?
